Before You Start

Pick a full-size keyboard with a standard layoutA laptop with a cramped or non-standard layout (missing keys, tiny arrow cluster) will teach you the wrong muscle memory.
Set your chair and desk height so your elbows sit close to 90 degreesWrists should stay roughly level with the keys, not bent up or down.
